Installing RainbowTaskbar 2.3.1: A Frustrating Experience Despite Promising Features

I was initially thrilled when I downloaded RainbowTaskbar 2.3.1 and noticed a notification stating that the app would now have advanced options. After giving the App a 5-star rating on the MS App store, I thought this update would finally fix the issue I had been experiencing. Unfortunately, my excitement was short-lived.

Despite the Transparency feature working as described, I found myself constantly having to manually activate it every time I turned on my PC. This is because the Taskbar only becomes transparent when I click on the RainbowTaskbar icon and select the desired opacity level from the drop-down list. Even with this workaround, the Taskbar still displays the default theme color set by Windows 11.

To make matters worse, the app doesn't appear in the taskbar tray after installation. In an effort to resolve this issue, I enabled the 'Run at startup' option and clicked 'Save' in the settings menu. However, when my PC boots up, the app fails to run automatically.

As someone who has recently purchased RainbowTaskbar 2.3.1 from the Microsoft App Store, I am extremely disappointed with the experience so far. The lack of a seamless startup process and the need for manual intervention every time I turn on my computer is frustrating and inconvenient. While the Transparency feature does work as intended, the app's inability to integrate itself into the taskbar tray and run automatically at startup has left me feeling let down.

I hope that future updates will address these issues and provide a more streamlined user experience for those who have installed RainbowTaskbar 2.3.1. Until then, I will continue to struggle with the manual process of activating Transparency every time my PC boots up.
